Lucknow: Hindu organizations have protested demanding closure of meat shops during Navratri. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal workers have also submitted a memorandum to SDM Baraut in Baraut tehsil of Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Let us inform that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers are protesting in different cities for the closure of all the meat shops on Navratri and Ramnavami festival and are also giving memorandum to the administration to close the meat shops.



In fact, on Friday, a large number of officials and workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal had gathered in the premises of Baraut tehsil. Where workers protested against the opening of meat and egg shops in Baraut Nagar here. The protesters said that Chaitra Navratri is going to start from Saturday. In such a situation, the whole atmosphere remains devotional. On the other hand, dozens of meat cutting, sale shops are openly open in the city. These shops are also polluting the environment of the city.

The activists have demanded to stop the meat being sold on handcarts and stalls and related fertilizers, and for continuous cleanliness around the temples. In this regard, VHP and Bajrang Dal workers have also submitted a memorandum to SDM Baraut Subhash Singh. Also warned that if the administration does not take any positive step, then a big movement will be organized against the closure of the meat shop.
