Bank Holidays: The month of March is about to start. Meanwhile, according to the list of holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India, banks will be closed for a total of 13 days in March. According to RBI, banks will be closed for a total of seven days in different zones in March 2022 due to festivals and other special occasions. Apart from this, banks remain closed on Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays of every month.

A lot has changed with the rise of digital banking. However, there are still some jobs for which you have to go to the bank. For example, you have to go to the bank branch for check clearance or KYC. In such a situation, it should be known when the bank will be open and when it will be closed.

Banks will be closed for a total of 13 days in March. These holidays will be on different days in different states. However, it should be noted here that not all banks across the country will remain closed for 13 days in the next month because of the holidays fixed by the central bank RBI. Some of those holidays are regional. This means that for some days only banks will be closed in some states but in other states all banking work will continue as usual.
