Stock Market Opening In Red On First Trading Day Of 2022-23


Stock Market Opening 1st April 2022: On the first day of the new financial year 2022-23, trading has started with a slight decline in the Indian stock market. Sensex-Nifty are trading in the red mark with a slight decline in the gains. Due to weakness in Asian markets, Sensex of Mumbai Stock Exchange declined by 37 points to 58830 and Nifty of National Stock Exchange rose by 27 points to start trading at 17436 points.

In today’s trading, 26 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading with a green mark and there are 24 stocks where trading is being seen in the red mark of decline. Whereas out of 30 stocks of Sensex, 15 shares are trading in green mark and 15 shares are trading in red mark. Talking about Bank Nifty, it is trading at the level of 36,490 with a jump of 117 points.

Today, if we look at the booming sectors in the sector-wise market, except the IT and auto sectors, all other sectors are trading in the green with a boom. Small cap and midcap stocks are also rallying. Realty stocks are being seen and media, banks, FMCG, energy, pharma and financial services are seeing a rise.

If we look at the Nifty’s climbing stocks in today’s trade, NTPC 4.26 percent, Power Grid 3.50 percent, M&M 1.37 percent, Airtel 1.05 percent, Kotak Mahindra 0.72 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.71 percent are trading with a jump.

Today’s Top Losers
The stock of Infosys is trading with a fall of 0.94 percent. HCL Tech is trading 0.77 percent, ICICI Bank 0.68 percent, Nestle 0.53 percent and HDFC 0.45 percent down.
