New Delhi. Power bike maker Royal Enfield has launched its new motorcycle ‘Scram 411’ in the domestic market. Its starting showroom price in Chennai is Rs 2.03 lakh. The Scrum 411 is built on Royal Enfield’s LS-410 engine platform and Harris Performance chassis. The Scrum 411 is the affordable version of the company’s Himalayan bike. Its direct competition will be with bikes like Yezdi Scrambler and Honda CB350RS.

Its showroom price in Chennai has been kept between Rs 2,03,085 to Rs 2,08,593. Royal Enfield said that the Scrum 411 has become available in the Indian market and will be launched in Europe and Asia Pacific by the middle of this year. According to the company, a four-stroke engine has been given in the 411 cc motorcycle.

Talking about the design, it gets a roundish old-school headlamp, fully digital circular instrument cluster, ergonomic design with comfortable seats, LED taillight.

The new instrument console, smaller front wheel and basic body panels have been used to make the Scrum 411 more economical than the Himalayan. It has been brought in several color options including White, Silver, Black, Blue, Graphite Red and Yellow.

The ground clearance has been marginally reduced to 200 mm. Its seat height has been kept at 795mm, which is a good thing for those with short height. It gets 190 mm of front travel and 180 mm of rear traveling suspension.
