new Delhi. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Wednesday said it will recall 19,731 units of its Eeco van from the market in a bid to correct incorrect marking of wheel rim size. The company told the stock exchange that it found during a routine inspection that the wheel rim sizes were incorrectly marked on some Eeco vehicles manufactured between July 19, 2021 and October 5, 2021.

MSI said that some of these vehicles are being withdrawn to correct the incorrect marking of rim size on the wheels. Maruti customers can check whether their vehicle needs any improvement in this regard by entering the chassis number of their vehicle on the company’s website.

Price hike from this month

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will increase the prices of its vehicles this month due to rising manufacturing cost. Maruti Suzuki said in the information given to the stock exchanges that the cost of the company’s vehicles has been increasing continuously for the last one year. Therefore, the company will have to pass some of the burden on the customers by way of increasing the price, he said. The company will increase the prices of the vehicles in April and the price hike will be different for different models. The company did not give any information about how much the prices will be increased.
