How did Gbemi Anjola die?
The 33-year-old actress died on Friday, March 24, 2023, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Cause of death of Gbemi Anjola
The actress is famous in Yoruba film industry. She is a young and promising actress who is well loved among her peers. During her lifetime, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Gbemi was diagnosed with the disease in 2021. As a result, he went to Dubai, UAE for chemotherapy which lasted for about 6 months.
After medical treatment in Dubai, he returned to Nigeria cancer free. On Friday, March 25, 2023, the actress complained of memory loss and headaches.
She was rushed to the hospital but, unfortunately, Gbemi was pronounced dead.

The sad news was shared by the late actor’s colleagues Idel and Zainab Balogun who condoled him on their Instagram pages.
Nkechi Blessing, Kunle Afod and Biodun Okeowo took to the comments section of their colleagues to express their condolences.
