Finlay, an 11-year-old fan who wrote the midfielder a letter thanking him for spreading awareness of cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement and coordination, was introduced to the Manchester City star last week.
For Finlay, who plays disability football for Manchester City and idolises the Three Lions forward, it was a dream come true.
In the video, Jack read a letter from Finlay, a young fan who referred to him as his “hero,” for the Premier League’s Fan Mail.
“To Jack, my name is Finlay and I am eleven years old,” the letter began. I am a diehard England and Man City supporter.
“I have cerebral palsy, and I noticed that your sister does too,” I said. Do you treat her like a good brother?
“I truly like how you get along so well with your sister,” she said. You always have her by your side, and you exude great pride. Particularly after you won the league.
